I understand that this sounds odd, but I've noticed it happens quite often, even after a complete re-installation of Orion: when I click on the close button, nothing happens, but it works the second or third time.

Just to add to the discussion, I have encountered this as well. The unfortunate news is that I haven't been able to find any consistent steps for reproducing the issue.

When you do the first click, is the Orion window you are attempting to close already focused?
I also have been able to reproduce this. I could be wrong, but it seems to occur for me when there is only one tab open, especially when closing a window with a bunch of tabs one by one.
@Younger_Me @eirk This issue appears to be the same as the one reported and fixed in https://orionfeedback.org/d/9301-cant-close-the-window-if-its-not-focused regarding window closing when unfocused. Could you please verify if this resolves your case? In such case let's proceed with closing this ticket.

I'll go directly look with the team , but to answer you here: no, this is not the same problem, I still have issues closing Orion sometimes and I have to click 4-5 times on the close button to manage it.
