The new tab page on iOS seems to default to a 16x16 image on some websitessites which results in a blurry image. Also clearing all browser data clears the cached image resulting in you needing to reload the page before the icon is correct.
I use the new tab page as shortcuts to fequently used work related pages. Some are under different subdomains which result in the same favicon making it hard to distinguish between them quickly
I would love to see an option to use a custom image for each "favorite" that would alleviate these issues!
