I have a hosts file on my Mac to block some websites from loading. I notice that those sites will load in Orion anyway. They are blocked on Firefox but appear with Safari. I don't see any settings in Orion that might affect this behavior. Compatibility mode doesn't change the result. Does Orion use the hosts file?

Thanks,

When a site in the hosts file is contacted, I would like Orion to block it.

OldGuyInTheClub Not sure what default WEbKit behavior is, you may want to submit a request on webkit.org (since Safari and Orion behave the same)

      Added this to my /private/etc/hosts:

      0.0.0.0 google.com www.google.com

Flushed the DNS cache and restarted Orion, and it "blocked" the domains from being accessible. This also worked in Safari.

Similar results here. Blocking via hosts file works as expected.

        Thanks both for checking!

Thanks for the crosscheck. Sites are still getting through for me. Not a fatal issue so I can live with/work around it.
