Pressing command+N repeatedly places the window in the same spot. It needs to be placed on a new spot, preferably the opposite edge of the screen.
Safari behavior is better for tabs that are at the bottom right.
If tab is already at the bottom, only move it to the right until it reaches screen edge. When it reaches screen edge, make it reset to the left, but this time maintain it's x-coordinate. Safari behavior is still slightly annoying in the regard that window positions go all over the place, making Chrome an ideal target to replicate.
It should start going to the left, or right if it is at left edge, and vice versa.
