Since the most recent update, Orion takes a long time to start up: around 2 minutes of not-smooth beachball. I have a few windows and a lot of tabs, but almost all of them are suspended.

As requested by Vlad in this bug, please see attachments here for some Activity Monitor process samples taken
during the startup, at 30s, 1min, 1:30, and 2mins. The 2mins sample is just after the startup completed: Orion had just painted the sidebar contents and rendered the only visible tab (an orionfeedback page).

The image attachment shows the 'Windows' sidebar to give an idea of the window and tab counts.

This was on an M3 Macbook Pro with 36GB RAM, after a fresh boot with no other apps running except Activity Monitor (but still lots of daemons and 'helpers' etc) and backups paused.

I hope the rather intense-looking stack traces in the samples are helpful 🙂

Many thanks for an awesome product.

Startup around a few seconds.

0.99.129-beta (WebKit 619.1.11.111.2)

Sonoma (14)

The duration seems correlated to number of tabs — I have about 800 tabs, and it takes Orion about 14 minutes to launch.

Problem originated when I was running Sonoma (after updating to 0.99.129-beta); I updated to Sequoia this weekend and the issue persists.

I have about 400 tabs, and it took me about 3-5 mins for it to start up. I am running Sonoma 14.7 and the issue occurs on Orion Version 0.99.129-beta.

All my existing tabs are also renamed to 'Untitled'.

Driazgo I found that all of my tabs from the first launch after updating were renamed to Untitled, but anything opened since then retains its correct title. Does this mirror your experience?
