Steps to reproduce:
- Mouse press on empty spot in bookmarks sidebar.
- Mouse release on entry.
- See that it opens even though dragging on empty space should only be relegated as a feature to select items, just like in the finder.
- Note that the drag selection from empty space is in fact a native macOS feature. What should be removed is the fact that releasing the mouse button opens a page where the cursor has mouse released.
Expected behavior:
No page will be opened, while maintaining drag selecting behavior upon pressing an empty space.
