I am a big fan of the QuickMarks extension, which lets you annotate your bookmark names and then start a search in the omnibox with "b " at which point if you type the bookmark name shortcut it will use that. It doesn't work on Orion.
You can install it, then append [foo] or anything else to a bookmark. After you should be able to go to the omnibox, type "b " (that is b and a space), then "foo" and hit enter and go to that bookmark.
It should work properly.
