Orion is marked as Safari instance on "linked devices" in WhatsApp, Google, etc.

When logging in to places that manage sessions on multiple devices, such as WhatsApp, Orion is listed as "Safari". For example, if you sign in to Whatsapp Web, you will see the Orion instance as "Safari (macOS)" with the accompanying Safari logo.

I suspect this issue is more complicated than it may appear for an end-user, but it's a necessary step to establish a base level of legitimacy as an independent browser.

I guess I am not so much trying to draw attention to this issue, as I'm sure the development team is aware, as I am myself interested in what the technical challenge here is. Is it related to the browser's User-Agent header?

Vlad Ah, it makes sense that an app like WhatsApp would not recgonise any and all browsers. Still, is there a channel on their end we can use to have them recognise Orion as its own browser and not a Safari clone?
