I've tested Vanadium, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Edge, Brave - all of them on either Android or macOS and Orion version 0.99.128.2.1-beta is the only browser that consitently can't handle Bitwarden's Autofill option.

It'll only work when the extension is reloaded and then it'll break within 10 minutes. I'm using the recommened extension from Orion's Popular Extension page.

When using Autofill

Unable to autofill the selected item on this page. Copy and paste the information instead.

One can only manually reload the extension and it'll work. This is not a Bitwarden problem, it is Orion as it's the ony browser currentky with this issue

    rightsaidfred Having more details would be helpful. Can you show a video of the problem?

        I'm having the same issue. Auto-fill doesn't work, keyboard shortcuts don't work, and the badge indicator on the bitwarden extension doesn't appear when it should. As rightsaidfred said, it works if I reload the extension, but will stop working shortly after.

          I don't know if a video will help, but this is the issue 100% of the time on 100% of websites when you try and autofill.

          I just tested Mullvad Browser too recently and Bitwarden is fine with that, it's literally only Orion. Ohnus is right in that the only fix is to reload the extension but it just doesn't last long until it reverts back to the broken state.

            I am experiencing same issue, autofill stopped working for me. I think it used to work ~ 1 month ago?

              I have the exact same issue, with the same error message. The inline autofill functionality (the dropdown that appeares when you select an input field) works though.

                  also, is any of you guys experiencing huge RAM usage when you're logged into Bitwarden extension? I had to disable it completely in order to be able to use Orion

                    heisznberg Yeah high memory usage happens for me too, but I think that is just the extension being an extension (most of them are packaged webapps) not sure if the team can do anything about it, but would be nice if they could!
