[Mojave] Waterstones website - "Orion RC graphics and media quit unexpectedly."

To reproduce:

Go to the website.
Wait or scroll down until the page crashes with the message, "The process for this web page crashed or was terminated. To continue, try reloading the page or open a different website."

Both compatibility mode and a clean profile did not fix the issue.

I keep getting this popup message when I visit the site:

Should not crash. Right now I can't use this website on Orion RC / Beta.

The page works as expected on Sequoia, probably only an issue on older versions of macOS

I was not able to reproduce on either my Mojave or Catalina systems.

I am wracking my brain for reasons it would seem to crash reproducibly on your Mojave system but run into no issues on mine. I assume you are on the latest version of Mojave at this point? Can you summarize your hardware? I wouldn't think the latter at play here but we did run into a funny and confusing problem related to Apple trackpads versus regular mice some time ago...

It's a late 2012 13" MacBook Pro Retina, using the trackpad. I think at this point I should re-install Mojave to see if that fixes any issues. Perhaps something must've broke on my end. Sigh.
