MisterTwo I really like the new background image option in the new RC, but a static image will get old fast. Popular extensions like Tabliss allow users to create custom new tab pages in their browser. One of the best features is the ability to have a random background from Unsplash that rotates every 15 min or some other arbitrary time period. Adding this random rotating background as an option to Orion's new tab page would add fun customization to the otherwise boring new tab page.
eirk I think a better request would to be for orion to properly support tabliss. I think it's better suited to keep this functionality to an extension
MisterTwo I understand for people who want all the other customizations and I do like Tabliss on Firefox, but using it in Orion removes the great speed dial which I would like to keep.
eirk I agree with you having it built-in is obviously nice to have, but it's a super niche use case that likely very few people will want to use though. I don't think its worth the effort implementing it
