Reverso extension blocked due to 3rd party cookie limits

I am not clear if this counts as a bug or not, but it feels like something I ought to be able to sort out.

I am all for blocking 3rd party cookies, but I have a paid account with Reverso for doing translations, and the Chrome extension is useful for powering on-page translations. In Arc, it works fine (even though I have Arc blocking 3rd party cookies), but in Orion it gives me this message...

Cookies blocked. To keep third-party cookies blocked but use full extension functionality, add this URL to “Sites that can always use cookies”: chrome-extension://onhiacboedfinnofagfgoaanfedhmfab/[*.]reverso.net

However, when I try to add that URL to the cookie setting, the browser shortens it to just "[*.]reverso.net"

Is this resolvable? Am I missing how to set this?

Bumping the issue as I also happen to use the extension regularly.
The following shows up after selecting "Translate with Context Reverso" from the context menu.
Also, the floating bubble when selecting a word doesn't seem to appear.

UPD: The floating bubble doesn't work on reddit, but works e.g. on orionfeedback.org. Weird.
Disabling the tracking naturally removes the cookies issue, but the bubble one persists.

Let me know what else I can do to isolate the issue and help debug it.
