I think it would look so much better if the toolbar had the same transparent blurred effect as the vertical tabs bar. As it is now, the vertical tabs bar looks refined and the effect subtle, but the toolbar by contract looks like it's still in beta or something. Microsoft Edge does a good job of achieving this refined look with their mica effect.

You should simply be able to turn it on and off in settings based on preference.
