ChatGPT uses Safari for login

When ChatGPT app uses Safari for login on startup. Kagi is the default browser. Safari is not used at all and does not have the login saved.

Expected the app to remain logged in or to log in through Kagi browser and its password keychain.

allmonty I am sorry I do not understand what you said. Can you break it down step by step how to reproduce the issue?

Apologies, just read my gibberish. I opted to use ChatGPT Mac OS app, set as startup app. When it starts, it opens Safari for login instead of Kagi browser. I made sure Kagi is the default browser.

allmonty Not sure there is anything we can do, try reaching out to openai support to fix how they implemented this.

set orion as default browser.
Steps:

download chatgpt app.
click the button that says "Continue with Google"
observe safari popup open instead of orion.

I think this might be a result of weird implementation by the chatgpt app though...
the only other browser that works is Chrome. setting the default browser to anything else causes Safari to open
