It happens quite often during the day that GMail thinks I have disabled JavaScript on my browser and I get this message at the top of the page:

This is not the case because I haven't done such thing and checking the settings for this website, everything looks normal:

I would expecte GMail website to regularly detect that I haven't disabled JavaScript for it and work normally.

A simple reload of the page fixes the issue for me.

Are you able to reproduce this issue on a fresh profile?
I signed in to gmail for the first time in ages and I didn't encounter any errors:

laiz what do you mean with a “fresh profile”? What should I do to use one? By the way this is not something that happens after a certain action. It happens after the GMail tab has been idle for a long time while doing something else (either using the browser in other tabs or using other apps). There is no way to know when it happens, other than click on GMail tab and notice that message. You won’t be able to reproduce it just by opening a GMail tab and waiting a few seconds.

File -> Profiles -> New Profile creates a new browser profile with all default settings. After that please attempt to reproduce the issue without changing any of the settings. An advanced request would be to gradually alter the state of the new Orion profile by changing the settings/extensions to be similar to the profile you reported the issue on but I understand how time consuming that could be.

This is the typical process we have for troubleshooting issues as it quickly allows us to determine whether the issue is caused by the user's configuration/extensions.

I've reopened gmail and will leave it in the background for the rest of the day. Thank you for clarifying.

18 hours later I am still unable to get any errors to pop up

andreagrandi I've never seen this so most likely caused by an extension. Easy way to test that is use compatibility mode on gmail.com
