  • The instant preview window disappears if I restore or move a window that overlaps it

  • BugsDesktopDone

I have set Orion as my default browser. Links from other applications will sometimes open in the Orion Preview window. The problem is that if I click outside of that window, or move another window that is displaying on top of it, or pretty much anything except stay inside the preview window, it disappears. Applications that have opened a URL to a bank for a login, for example, are left high and dry - the process is interrupted and can't be completed.

If that's a feature not a bug, is there a way to turn the Preview window off and just open a normal browser tab instead?

I would like to be able to, for instance, move another window that is covering half of the Preview Window out of the way without the Preview Window vanishing.

tatere Yes, you cna disable in Settings -> Browsing . Or just click the icon in top right of preview to dock it to Orion.

Can this be reopened? I really like the behavior in Arc, where Arc Mini stays open until closed. I very often happen to open a pull request on GitHub from Slack or a Jira ticket. I end up writing a PR review or a comment. I go to another window to check some additional information, and boom all my text is gone.
