If I turn lock my phone while on Orion, about once a day I come back to the application being completely unresponsive. I originally thought the browser was frozen, but changing orientation does trigger re-layout, I just can’t click, scroll, use the toolbar or switch tabs.
The only way to fix it is to kill the application.

Continue to be responsive. Without this I may have to go back to Safari and use the Kagi extension while leaking my searches to DuckDuckGo.

Quantumbyte I am not able to reproduce this and I use Orion iOS all the time. We would need bit more help reproducing this.

Sorry to take this long to reply. I’m happy to help, unfortunately once the app freezes I can’t send feedback and therefore have no way to send debug information. Given the app still changes layout as I rotate the screen, may I suggest adding an option in iOS settings with maybe a way to submit the report from there? Or perhaps detecting a shake gesture and doing something with that?

That’s the issue: I haven’t been able to figure out the pattern. Sometimes it hangs three times in one day, others it takes 2 weeks. I actually thought it was fixed because it didn’t happen, then it did a few times in a row. I’m myself a software engineer and understand how terrible of a user-reported bug this is, and really wish to help, that’s why I’m wishing there was a way to probe the application without having to interact with it. In addition to my suggestions before, I’m going to see if I can launch a new page once it hangs by clicking on a link in a different application. If so, maybe we can use that somehow to extract debug information from it?
Also, if you guys have a TestFlight, I’d be happy to use that. I’m also on an iPhone 13 Pro, so maybe it’s an older phone problem?
