Orion version 0.99.109.1.2-beta (WebKit 613.1.12)
This is a weird one - it seems that HTTP basic auth isn't correctly implemented by Orion when the "remember this password" box is not checked. I am attempting to do the simplest user/pass HTTP basic auth over HTTPS (port 443), which works on every browser imaginable.
Copying and pasting the correct username and password into the login fields, Orion fails to log in (and a 401 is generated server-side for incorrect password).
The credentials are definitely correct, as I can log in via Safari using the exact same clipboard contents (pasting in Orion first, so there's no breakage there...)
If you check the "remember this password" box, it works fine though, so the actual HTTP request must be getting varied by this.
I've not set up a custom server to log the response, but if it comes down to it I guess that's an option, to get to the bottom of what's going wrong when the box isn't checked. If I had to take a guess, when the box isn't checked, an empty password is being sent (or similar).
