When creating a new tab, I almost always want it next to the tab I’m on. I often have many tabs open and creating a new one requires me swiping through a bunch of other tabs or opening the sidebar and scrolling.
I suggest the ability to customize this behavior, which would apply to both the new tab button and gesture. That way if I create a new tab, it’s always a single swipe away from the one I’m on.
