Currently, opening a new window opens the same pinned tabs.
It would be best to have an option to turn this off, giving users a choice to pick a preference.
My workflow includes a "main" browser window, and I will open other windows based on what I need to do (for example comparing content, copying and pasting, etc). Opening a new window opens the same pinned tabs.
This is annoying for three reasons:
- wasted real estate (having 10 pinned tabs take up quite a bit of space)
- cmd+{1-5} would all be my pinned tabs instead of the new window I just opened
- opening the pinned tabs in the active window makes them 'sleep' in my main window, causing delays when reactivating when low on RAM (it seems to work better with today's release, but previously it could be quite (1 second) slow)
This is less of an issue on laptops or small screens, but on a desktop with a lot of screen estate, with multiple browser windows, it isn't great and is entirely different from how Firefox and Chrome do it.
