Offline Download and some features

Please give Orion the ability to Offline Download videos. As well as the features for it be the ability to choose the resolution for the video being downloaded based on what the website supported resolutions of the video are. As well as the ability to edit certain segments of the video. For example there is a video I want to offline download but the video downloaded has a sponsor segment and I want to edit it out. I hope this may be taken into consideration.

I am not aware of extensions that do this. However, I am aware that Brave Browser on iOS has a similar ability to save videos offline to a playlist within the app itself.

Users can add videos to the browser's playlist to watch later by holding their finger on the video or adding it to the playlist with a button in the browser's ellipsis menu.

(Brave on iOS does not support choosing a specific resolution to save nor does it support editing segments of the video however).

ForeverAl He is right, but if offline download is natively built in like Brave for IOS that would be better. I’m not sure how the extension would react as it isn’t made for IOS but it’s called “DownThemAll” I never have used it for desktop and only heard about it through a YT guy named MentalOutlaw. I bet he would love this app if it was open-source.

After better extension compatibility, this is definitely the feature I miss most from Brave. I think Brave only advertises it for watching YouTube videos offline, but it actually works on other sites too. I use it for listening to courses on the go.
