Who would want to take a real world picture for a forum discussing an app (and even then, do that while attaching instead of from the photo app)? This line just introduces an opportunity to mistap

I believe this is a standard iOS feature not something that was explicitly implemented for the forum.
Some use cases for take photo or video could be for when there is a bug involving the notch/pill of phones/macbooks which can't easily be recorded, or to show some swipe gestures that cause issues

Do you know whether this can be overriden? Could you even make the button directly invoke the photo library picker (not sure how frequently files attachments are used, to me it could be a separate button in the slider
(and for your example you'd still record that before opening a forum form)
