It would be useful to be able to configure some extensions to be "global". I use multiple profiles so I can be signed in to some websites with different account levels, but I need to use 1Password with all of the profiles. Currently I need to configure the 1Password extension multiple times, once per profile, even though it's the same account, so it could be useful to have an option where I could configure this extension once, and have that available to all profiles.

Not sure if this would be possible really, but I thought I would share the idea nontheless.

This kinda goes against the entire point of profiles - complete data separation. If extensions were to be shared (and share data) between profiles, then the data separation is gone, and could be confusing.

I personally think that its easier for the user (and developers) to just spend some extra time on the setup process once

I was wondering if it could be done "nicely", maybe a special section that made it clear the extensions would be available in all profiles, but yeah I totally get what you mean, probably better to keep everything separated/isolated on purpose, so there's no risk of accidentally leaking data.
