Some messengers that use end-to-end encryption are claiming that the browser is old

Facebook messenger doesn't work end-to-end encryption conversation because it's telling me that the browser is old, is this because the browser simulates the user agent of Mozilla (Gecko), Chrome and Safari at the same time?

How do I update the browser user agent?

It should appear that everything is up to date, including the Mozilla add-ons website and the Chrome web store, some extensions show that the browser is old, why does this happen?

Deilson You can set a custom user agent string here: Orion RC -> Preferences -> Privacy -> "Custom" User Agent. Then you can switch to that string for a specific tab from Develop -> User Agent -> Custom. Or set it per website or browser-wide from Preferences -> Websites -> User Agent.

FYI, I've noticed a similar situation when I go to the Mozilla.org website with the latest Orion RC while I am running Catalina (macOS 10.15), it tells me that Firefox is no longer supported on macOS 10.14 and below. I don't get that message if I do the same from Safari 15.6.1 (last available on Catalina). Somehow their website is trying to detect my OS version and somehow thinks it is running something older than Catalina.

Steps to reproduce:

While running Catlina 10.15, open new window in Orion (RC)
Open website https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
Website gives message, "Firefox is no longer supported on macOS 10.14 and below."

Everything works fine after that but it's an odd message like above.

What's confusing here (to me) is that these websites must be looking at something other than the User Agent. When I go to whatsmybrowser.com/org everything looks normal. The User Agent that Orion transmits to websites says that I'm running Safari 17.4, etc.
