Omnivore is a read-it-later app with extensions for Chrome and Firefox (and Safari).

This issue occurs with both Chrome and Firefox extensions.

The extension adds a "Save this page to Omnivore" button to the Toolbar, and also to the right-click context menu.

The toolbar button works as expected, with a small menu appearing in the top right indicating success and further options.

The right-click context menu does nothing at all, but should behave the exact same way as the toolbar button.

    I can't even authenticate and use omnivore at all with firefox or chrome extensions! It always says "You're not logged in" even after logging in.

      drench That's a different issue that the one I'm reporting, but hopefully I can help you solve that.
      What I did is right-click on the Omnivore extension icon, then click "Options" (You might need to drag it on to the toolbar for the "Options" to come up in the right-click menu).
      Then there are instructions on the page that comes up about how to authenticate using an API key instead, and it's thankfully quite straightforward.

          8 months later

          Omnivore has now shut down and is no longer operating, so this extension and bug report can probably be closed.
