I can confirm this same behavior as well. Neither the Chrome nor Firefox Bitwwarden extensions seem to be loading the page.

Why would you need the extension when Orion cna natively fill fron bitwarden keychain?

Vlad The Bitwarden extension supports autofill, which can automatically fill in forms once the webpage has loaded. Additionally, it can prompt you to save the password after registering on a website.

I am also experiencing this issue on both my iPhone and my iPad. While the Bitwarden native app is available and makes it possible to access my vault, its a pain to use compared to the extension, which prevents having to switch contexts to the Bitwarden app, then copy the credentials, and then return to Orion to paste them in. When using randomized usernames, that dance has to happen twice: once to copy the username and once to copy the password.

I’ve also experienced Orion suddenly forgetting that I have Bitwarden configured to do autofill system wide, and it will just show me iCloud passwords, even though I don’t use them.

Definitely interested in seeing this one resolved 🙂 Thanks for all y’all do with Orion. Its an awesome product!

One note for anyone experiencing this issue: you can downgrade to an older version of the extension that still appears to work properly in Orion. Version “2024.1.1” has been verified to work. Visit the GitHub page for Bitwarden’s client apps, and navigate to that release:

Once there, expand the “assets” button, download the Firefox version of the extension, which is a Zip file. Once downloaded, rename the file from “.zip” to “.xpi.” Then, go into Orion’s extensions pane and tap the plus sign on the bottom left of the screen, select the XPI file, and then install. Everything should work from that point onward.

Ideally, things would work with the latest and greatest, but this will have to do for now.
