This might be a rare case, but I've been using the Checker Plus for Gmail and GCal extensions from Jason Savard for quite a long time and it would be great if these plugins (Chrome or Firefox – don't care which one) could work properly with Orion. Right now I'm getting a warning from the plug-in to "update my browser". I'm not sure whether the fault lies with the plug-in creator's implementation or Orion's implementation of how they support these plugins, I just thought I'd put this on your radar.

Here's the plugin page: https://jasonsavard.com

Install plug-in. I can get notifications and preview emails though the pop-up from the plugin in Orion.

I have a problem with this extension as well, but it's a bit different:
Once installed, the extension needs you to log in to your Google account, and after doing so, it's back to the window where it asks you to add your Google account, so I'm in a loop:

    Version 0.99.128.2.1-beta (WebKit 619.1.11.111.2)
    macOS 12.7.4

I've installed this extension on every browser I use (Chrome, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, Arc) and never had an issue with it. Orion is the only one I can't use it. I've been using this extension a lot, for a long time already and I really can't live without it, so as much as I'd love to test out (and maybe switch to) Orion, while starting using it, I had to reinstall all my extensions manually (not fun), and getting to install Checker Plus for Gmail, I encountered this, which is a show stopper for me, at least until this is fix. I will contact the developer of the extension, just for the sake of it, because I'm pretty sure he'll tell me it's because of Orion, and I don't feel like playing a tennis match between Orion and the extension's developer, and being the man in the middle 😅

After that latest update of Orion, I had some hope, but nope, not only the extension behave the same, but if you remove it and reinstall it, now it doesn't even install anymore; after clicking on "Add to Orion", it's on a loop:

alright, I'm out again ... will come back in a few months, see if there's another update available, which will fix this issue eventually.... until then, well, Merry Xmas! 🙃

That is an issue caused by Google's backend changes. A fix should be out next week.

Still not working. After adding the extension, and clicking on the icon, I can "Add an account", which opens a new window where I can see this on the bottom left:

Then I click on Add an account, and after passing the first Google account login screen, I see this:

Clicking on Continue, brings me back to the Extension options page, as if nothing happened:

Look, I think I'm gonna stop wasting my time with this browser and doing QA work. I'd really love to try and love Orion, but without this extension running, that's a deal breaker for me, and it never worked despite the few updates ....
          Sorry...
