After the latest update (Version 1.3.8), when try to download an mp4 file, it just shows up in a player with no other way of downloading it. I use this browser to download vids from YouTube as this browser allows extensions and has a content blocker which is really good. Thing is, after the latest update, the release note says that an issue was fixed where pdf files were initiating download instead of opening in browser.

I think this also affects mp4 files and some other files:

The mp4s were supposed to download. Before the update (Version 1.3.8) they downloaded perfectly without opening in a player. Now after the update, they open in a player with now way to download them. (Recommendation): I recommend to the devs that they add a download button to these pages if the devs can’t fix this entirely.

      Vlad turn on orion’s content blocker or use an adblocker extension (to stop the ad spam) and go to y2mate.com

      Click on ‘Search or paste link here’ and paste the link from this vid(for example):

      into the box.

      Now click download on any of the quality options

      and click on the last download button.

      after clicking that button, the video would usually download, but after orion updated it no longer downloads and opens like this:

      Note: The video still downloads on safari and other browsers but there is no content blocker therefore i get spammed with ads every single time i click 😐
