Opening from other apps does not open in last used profile

For the last 2-3 weeks when I open a link in another app that should open in Oriion it opens in the first profile I launched and not the last profile I used.

Thus I cannot control which Orion profile things open in.

In the last case I closed all Orion profiles and opened one that still had preview checked.
I then started another Orion profile and loaded a page in it.
Went to the app (Netnewswire) and clicked on a URL
The page open in preview (the setting of the FIRST Opened Orion profile and not the last profile used.

I expected the page to open in the last Orion profile I used.

How do I make Orion open external URLs in the last profile used, or control which profile is used, or even always open in preview but in the preview window allow me to send the page to any profile?

I can replicate this issue

to replicate

make sure you created a new profile
make sure you close the window of all other profiles and that you have a window with the new profile open, navigate around with it to make sure it is considered Active
click on a link on another app, perhaps outlook
the preview window appear with the wrong profile
clicking the maximize button on the preview window opens a new window of the default profile instead of using the last active profile

what I expect to happen

the preview window is for the last active profile
the maximize button open the tab on the last active profile

what I noticed on my case is that changing the default profile also doesn't work, all the links open in the first profile I had.

I love this browser and kagi, and I hope we can get it released in windows at some point since I use that system as well, thanks for all the hard work!

more testing results

I set up a third profile, and set it as default, now every link open on this new profile regardless of the setting for using the last active profile.

I deleted this third profile and set the second profile as the default, now every link opens in this second profile regardless of the setting as well.

I upgraded it to 0.99.134-beta before the tests above
