I am encountering issues with the ChatGPT for Google extension when using the Kagi search engine, where it fails to function as expected. The extension is designed to display on the right-hand side of the search results and update with information relevant to search queries. However, in my experience with Kagi, the extension inconsistently appears and often does not respond or update. Moreover, there are instances where it does not appear at all. To illustrate this problem, I have recorded a video showcasing the extension's proper operation on Chrome versus its problematic behavior on Kagi. Additionally, I have attached a screenshot of the console errors captured from the background-script, which indicate specific issues that might be causing this malfunction.
The expected functionality of the ChatGPT for Google extension is to consistently appear on the right-hand side of the search engine results, updating with relevant information for each query without user intervention. This seamless integration works perfectly on Chrome, enhancing the user experience by providing supplementary content related to the searches. My expectation for Kagi was similar, where the extension would perform reliably. The provided console errors should assist in pinpointing the exact problems, and I am seeking a resolution that will enable the extension to function as effectively on Kagi as it does on Chrome.
