Logging into Gmail/Google/Youtube with a google account works fine, but upon closing the Orion browser and re-opening immediately, I am no longer logged into anything touching a google account.

M1 Mac Air running 14.4

  • No extensions installed
  • "automatic cookie delete" set to Manual
  • "Disable History" unchecked
  • "Websites" > "Cookies" > has youtube and accounts.google with "accept cookies" set to "on"

I expect that as long as I am freshly logged into any google product with an unexpired token, have cookies/history on, my login token will be cached and I will be kept logged in.

    Snugglife Can you try with a new clean orion profile, and walk through settings until you find the one that causes it?

        Apologies for the late reply.

        Made a new profile (clean not default), and a clean profile keeps you logged in if you ONLY close the window for that profile and re-open a new profile window, but as soon as you fully close all instances of the orion application (usually CMD + Q) then i am logged out again from any windows and profiles that were logged in.

        Tested 3 times, 1 with each of the 2 profiles logged in and not the other (original profile and clean profile), and 1 with both profile windows logged in.

        Also tried setting clean profile as default, so that it opens when i open orion, and would be the only profile opening a window. Logging in, closing, reopening orion app with this clean profile had same behavior as above.

          I'm also having this issue. Tested with a few different profiles, pinned tabs or not, all Google products log out once I shut down Orion completely and does not stay logged in when I open it back up. Is this a cookie issue? I tried with a couple other sites and they all stay logged in okay.
