The address bar disappears and url becomes gray upon opening a link that automatically opens as a new tab. This happens after the toolbar hides on scroll and then opening the link.

Steps to reproduce this result:
Link as example: https://thehill.com/business/4562866-social-security-administration-issues-new-rule-preventing-food-assistance-from-affecting-payouts/amp/

  1. Open link provided above.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the article, ensuring that the toolbar hides itself from scrolling.
  3. Click the “per the SSA” hyperlink at the bottom of the article.
  4. The SSA website should open. Proceed to press the browser back button.
  5. Result.

The address bar should remain present upon returning. The url should also not be gray or dimmed out.
