"Reload" button for an extension, if it is loaded from disk, reloads the extension itself but not updated files from disk.

Steps to reproduce:
Load an extension from disk and change any file (e.g. JS file). Updates are not loaded with pressing "Reload", only on re-installation.

Expected behavior:
Reload files from disk. Better for e.g. "New Tab" extension (like in Chrome) that updated files on disks automatically loaded on each new tab without pressing "Reload".

Perhaps can an uninstall and reinstall button be added, which is updating, and then backup the extension preferences before uninstall so that it can update or something?

From the above discussion, I understand that if an extension is loaded from disk, "reload" button updates it.

Then, what does the "reload" button do for extensions installed from store?
