hello. i usually install a tweak on my phone that removes the period key from the address bar keyboard in safari. there are different keyboard’s available in iOS depending on where the keyboard is being invoked. one would still be able to get to the period key by pressing the “123 key.”

basically, the address bar is usually used as a default search engine bar more than actually typing a full website name, and the period key is unnecessarily in a location that it normally isn’t when using the keyboard in iOS. this causes one to type.like.this. because of the abnormal keyboard.

i think it could be a great addition to the app. anyway, it’s cool if not. love the app. thank you!

i think the best option would be to add a simple toggle in the settings to remove the period key in the address bar by forcing the standard keyboard to be used instead.

even in this very text box that i’m typing in, right now, the period key isn’t there. it only shows up as a specific type of keyboard when typing in the address bar.

    I use the . key all the time when I want to go to a website directly (Example.com). Only having it behind the 123 key would be annoying considering I use it frequently.

      ForumNinja404 this is understandable. websites i frequent get filled in automatically for me, usually. and websites i don’t are usually accessed from a search engine or a link. but that’s just me

          unrelated, but what's with the undo, select, paste buttons down there? is this some hidden setting?

            eirk i noticed that after i made the post and i should have cropped that out. it was my mistake. that is something that i have on my phone specifically and it isn’t part of any app.

                I would love this option too. In any app with an extra key (period in web browsers, an @ key in many social media apps) to the right of the spacebar, I struggle with hitting that key all the time when I mean to type a space. I habitually hit the space bar on the very far right edge, no matter how hard I try. I am usually entering searches in Orion’s address box, so having to switch to the punctuation keyboard to get the period would be no big deal. For those that don’t struggle with only using the very edge of the space bar… that’s why it would be an option!

                  Would at least like to move it to the left side. I’m a right-thumb spacebar-er and I’m constantly hitting this by accident.
