Steps

  1. Orion iOS
  2. Open a pdf
  3. Click the share button
  4. Look for “save to files”

Expected:
“Save to files” option is present

Actual:
“Save to files” is missing

I want to save the pdf to files so I can open it with a local pdf reader app.

The “save to files” option is present in safari.

    Ibash when you click the share button, Orion will show you a options to view share oprions As URL and As File and if you select As File, you will see Save to Files option in share sheet. Make sure that you are using latest Orion build

        I cannot replicate this solution. On iOS 17.4.1 / Orion 1.3.8 (13) (current version in App Store), this is what appears for me upon clicking the share button from within a PDF:

        I cannot find an option to choose between “save as URL” and “save as file” as the original reply suggests.

          Jdb I have the same experience, iOS 17.4.1, Orion 1.3.8 (13) (WebKit 8618.1.15.10.15).

              Same on iPadOS with Canva Invoice as PDF being displayed by browser, but clicking a Share button shows this:
