Scroll position saved priority issue

Steps to reproduce:
The scroll position of what was saved earlier is priotised over the one that was saved more recently, and yet the page loads back to the "1. Life" instead of "I[t] occured to me to put the question directly to myself."?

Expected behavior:
It should prioritise more recent scroll positions over more dated ones.

The problem is, when there is an id internal hyperlink in the address bar, that internal link is priotised over the current scroll position, so if you click an internal hyperlink, scroll somewhere else, then reload, then that hyper link's position within the webpage is priotised. That should not be, and instead your scroll position should be priotised.
The caveat here is that Safari and Chrome as well priotises the internal hyperlink over your own scroll position, so this perhaps is intended behavior.

Could perhaps an option be added to priotise scroll positions over local links in the address bar? I would highly appreciate a feature like this.

Fortrikka We can not have every single thing as an option as preferences would grow to wo screens high.

@Fortrikka It's been quite a while, so I'm not sure whether this is still relevant.

This is standard behavior across all browsers due to the following reasons:

It's part of the URL specification
The "#" symbol in URLs denotes a fragment identifier, which is used to navigate to a specific section of a webpage
It's specifically designed to provide direct navigation to specific sections of documents

This isn't a matter of choosing one behavior over another. The fragment identifier (#) in URLs serves a specific purpose defined by web standards.
I don't think we can have every single option in preferences as Vlad suggests, and it can't be changed from the default behavior because of the reasons mentioned above. Therefore, I'm marking this as Nofix.
