@Fortrikka It's been quite a while, so I'm not sure whether this is still relevant.
This is standard behavior across all browsers due to the following reasons:
- It's part of the URL specification
- The "#" symbol in URLs denotes a fragment identifier, which is used to navigate to a specific section of a webpage
- It's specifically designed to provide direct navigation to specific sections of documents
This isn't a matter of choosing one behavior over another. The fragment identifier (#) in URLs serves a specific purpose defined by web standards.
I don't think we can have every single option in preferences as Vlad suggests, and it can't be changed from the default behavior because of the reasons mentioned above. Therefore, I'm marking this as Nofix.
