I've tried to discern any patterns or triggers for this problem but I can't. The only thing in common is that it only occurs when I come back to a tab from another, or from another app or another space. It never happens when the tab is the active tab and Orion has focus.

It's by far the worst bug in Orion for me, happening multiple times a day, sometimes causing me to lose work on forms and forums and the likes. I really hope it gets prioritised soon. I'd highly recommend not releasing the next beta until it's fixed at the least.

Vlad I think so? Definitely happens without extensions. I haven't used an actual clean profile for long enough to be sure though.

Vlad Can confirm it happens on a new clean profile with no extensions. Been running a clean profile today and Discord just froze up on me, same way it does on my regular profile. Only one other tab open at the time. Seems to happen most often on sites with lots of vertical scrolling, like Discord, Youtube, Facebook, etc.

It seems in the current 0.99.126.4.1.10-rc (WebKit 619.1.1) version, this bug no longer happens to me again.

Nevermind. Discord just froze on me. Seems to be happening less often at least.

I encounter this issue randomly too. I use compatibility mode by default (no extension).

I did some identifying on this. I believe I notice the issue when a new tab is made (like ebay for example its mostly consistent). I am not sure exactly if this is it or not, but this seems to be the issue at least for me.

Still happening in the latest RC and in the new beta. For me it always happens when revisiting a tab after being on a different tab or from another app entirely. Never happens while actively using the tab.

Xyth I discovered the same. Transferred a website to a new host having two tabs open and copy paste between them. Suddenly one of the two tabs gets unresponsive. I have to close this tab and open again.

Back to Safari for now. 😕

Not sure if this will help but I've noticed on tabs that get locked into the "unclickable state", using the keystroke CMD+L causes the tab to unlock, jump to the clicked link, then lock up again.

This behavior is repeatable for me every time locks up on Version 0.99.127-rc (WebKit 619.1.1).

Can someone else see if they experience the same?

atgranted Yes, making the URL active seems to refresh the page. It's still frozen but you can see that any clicks or scrolling you did registered.
