The ability (either from the settings page or the toolbar) to enable extensions while in compatibility mode.

After YouTube's crackdown on adblockers, I tried turning off extensions, content blockers, and tracking prevention, but YouTube still detected that there is an ad block.
In compatibility mode, YouTube works all right. what I want to do is to enable compatibility mode, and have extensions like SponsorBlock work.
Maybe something like a "Compatibility mode with extensions" option will do.

While this option should exist, doing a full reinstall of Orion (using something like AppCleaner) and disabling Orion's built-in content blockers on Youtube as soon as you first open the page fixed the problem for me. You will have to reimport all your browing options, so perhaps back up your passwords and stuff, if you're using Keychain. If the adblock dectector is annoying you that much, you can go through all the trouble that I did of reinstalling and reconfiguring the browser. It was worth it to me.

Edit: One weird issue was that when I used Youtube on one account, it straight up wouldn't let me watch, on another, it would give a pop-up window, and when I completely disabled cookies and logged out, there was never any indication that I was using an adblocker. I think it was some issue with the accounts, because no matter what I did with a cookie editor, I couldn't get the notice to disappear on the first aforementioned account.

The pop-up isn't that intrusive, yet. Thanks for sharing your method. I will try it when YouTube becomes more aggressive.
