Certain PDFs can only be downloaded but not be opened in Orion

Clicking on https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Global_Reach.pdf just opens the PDF within Orion
Clicking on https://wb-web.de/file/download/35af9439-bef1-a912-ce71-c93c86187821/gruppen_ha_nasaspiel_final_20150930.pdf asks me to "Copy Link" or "Download"
So Orion behalves differently for a known filetype like PDF, JPEG or PNG
Just show known filetypes as other browsers do - directly within the browser.
There is no reason not to provide a possibility to show the filetypes

Vlad I did that. Safari directly opens both. Same holds for other common filetypes like JPEG, PNG, GIF and others.

rosenrot I just tried it in Safari and it also offers to download the second. This is because it returns such mime headers

Vlad The bug is for mobile. iOS Safari opens both.

I am revisiting our downloads mechanisms in Orion.

The second link you provided promps download in

desktop Safari, desktop Chrome
mobile Chrome, Brave

It opens in app in

mobile Safari, Firefox, Edge

Looks like no clear decision here.
For now I am going to exclude pdf files from force downloads, but if there's any bugs or weird behavior with it I may remove this restriction
