When you close the last tab of a window, it is not possible to close that window. The URL of the last closed window will "shadow" appear in the URL entry space. Maybe if I open a new tab then it is possible to close the windoow, but that clearly is NOT how things should work. MacOs Sonoma 14.2.1. Orion Version 0.99.126.4.1-beta (WebKit 618.1.2)

    lclevin Not quite sure I understand the bug report. Can you compare the behavior with Safari?

        New window. Add a tab. Close that tab. Now close the window.

        I wasn't able to repro it as I just described. The situation was 3 windows in Orion:
        1 with many tabs
        2 was a Bitwarden ui window
        3 was a Kagi window in which no search had been performed yet

        Could not close #3.

          Maybe drop it for now until I have a reproducible case I can document right after it happens, if/when it happens

            I noticed something like this in the Feb 1 build but it appears fixed in the Feb 8 build.

            In the Feb 1 build, if I opened a new window, Command-W didn't close the window. But if I opened a 2nd tab in that window then I could use Command-W to close that tab and then the final tab/window.

              I have the Dec. 14 build because I am not getting beta's on Orion+ (though I sent in a contribution and subscribe to Kagi).
