  • Closing an Orion Preview window opened from outside app does not bring main Orion window to front

This is another issue related to the new Orion Preview feature (which, when working, is excellent).

With a main Orion window opened in the background, open another app (e.g., Netnewswire) and click any link to open an Orion Preview window. Both the main Orion window and the other app's window will lose focus.

Then, close the Orion Preview window. The Orion window and the other app's window will still not be focused, though Orion will remain the active app (in the menubar).

Without focusing the other app's window, focus the main Orion window by clicking on it.

The main Orion window will remain in the back and the other app will remain on front.

When focused, the Orion window should come to the front even if Orion is the currently actlve app in the menubar.

    Yes, I experience the same. It only loads the site in a preview window when the main window is already on screen. If not then nothing happens.

      This was fixed and released one or two minor RC versions later, but changing the status looks to have been missed

        No one is typing
