If the address/search bar already has text in it and you tap to highlight all the text and then tap the dictate button and start speaking, your input is appended to the selected text instead of replacing it. If you instead start typing, the selected text is replaced as one would expect.
Steps:
- Go to apple.com.
- Tap the address bar.
- Tap the Dictate button.
- Say something.
When new text is typed over selected text, the selected text should be replaced. This is what happens in Safari and all other tested apps.
