Thunderbird Add-Ons, or MailExtensions, are able to be installed. That's specifically a problem because most of them use APIs that a web browser like Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Orion inherently can't support. (I can see some of these being usable, but definitely not all of them!) uBlock Origin does actually work, but CardBook (and most of the others on this store) doesn't. This is not a request to get them to work.

  1. Visit any Thunderbird addon page.
  2. Choose the "Download Now" button
  3. Choose "Add"
  4. Observe the extension being installed to your browser

I expected the extension to not be installed.

This likely affects mobile too, but I only tested on desktop.
