eirk There are, such as configurations from Tor browser or Hardened Firefox for example reduce the tracking and attack surface drastically.
I used to run a hardened Firefox with uMatrix, uBlock filters, selectively adding only the absolutely necessary scripts for the website to function within the matrix, so it is doable and requires less micromanagement than merely Safari's lockdown mode protections.
This would be mostly a niche scenario but I see applications for this such as if the developers were to refine the control of the built-in content blocker and allow more granular control, it would be a simple configuration table for this to be setup.
With Firefox implementing this I do not see a reason why this would not be implemented with the market of Orion being the technically adept population of people who use computers,
JPEG2000 is a completely outdated format which would only serve as a superfluous bloated attack surface, similar to Adobe Flash which relegated would conform to the standard hardened norms that would reduce the attack surface of the browser to exploits.
