I type pretty fast - my WPM maxes out at ~ 200/min. When I'm typing really quickly in Orion's URL bar, sometimes the Top Hits lags behind and takes me to a different site than what I wanted to visit because of stale data.

  1. Type a query that has beginning resemblance to a Top Hit really quickly into the URL bar
  2. Press enter
  3. Observe it lag behind while you're typing with stale data and then direct you to an irrelevant top hit.

You may have to slow down the video to observe what happened.

In this video, you can see that I visited fastmail.com before but I wanted to do a search for fastlane ai. However, since I was typing too fast, the top hits didn't refresh in time, and thus, directed me to fastmail.com because it didn't see the lane ai part of my input.

I expected the top hit bar to refresh fast enough or on me pressing the Enter button so that it would direct me to a search query for fastlane ai, and not to fastmail.com, which is irrelevant.

    I have also noticed this recently. I am not sure if it's always been the case but the current delay is quite annoying.

      laiz It's been a thing forever and it bugs me out. This time I was able to get a solid screen recording so hopefully it will be fixed by next release

        Same issue here. Happens to me all the time. Very frustrating. Notice how I explictly typed out the full URL of x.com and yet I got redirected to x.ai

        I've only ever visited x.ai once and I visit x.com all the time. The fact that x.ai is a top hit at all is also very frustrating (albeit technically a separate issue)
