These bugs are happening when I attempt to click on the 1Password icon in the toolbar. All of the 1Password extensions¹ I have tried so far will either open a tab explaining it needed to restart (text below) or a dialogue will pop up saying loading failed. I've attached images of each below.

I was only able to login to 1Password on the firefox extension. All chrome extensions (Beta, Nightly, and Regular) didn't work.

  1. Here is the list of all 1password extensions I have tried, in no particular order

  2. Chrome (2.17.1), will not even open. Restart tab.

  3. Firefox (2.15.1), error loading.

  4. Chrome, Nightly (2.18.25), will not even open, restart tab (or blank tab) when clicking on icon.

  5. Chrome, Beta (2.18.1), NEW error. Database error. Cleared all browsing data, resinstalled Beta version, same error.

I expect to be able to at the very least access my 1password extension. Not even asking for autofill at this point, it has never worked for me. At the bare minimum I would like to be able to copy and paste my login information. I cannot use Orion like this, even though I really want to use it as my only browser.

    It seems I am possibly having the same issue as the OP. I see it is marked as done, but I'm wondering if that isn't the case.

    I have tried other browsers (Firefox and Chromium based) and the 1Password extension works as expected.

    I did realize it seems the UBlock Origin extension seems to be related to my issue (not sure if OP has UBlock). Disabling it on a site and reloading causes 1Password to work as expected without the reload/Database problem. I did check, and 1Password and UBlock work as intended together on Firefox without causing an issue.

    Please let me know if this needs a new report or if you need any further information.

      mchisolm0 I do have uBlock installed but I continue to have other issues with 1Password on Orion!

          qeeuns Yeah...I feel like I'm still struggling to pinpoint the problem...I had it working for a while and now it will inconsistently autofill. I think the problem is if you use the universal autofill shortcut from the Desktop Application CMD + \ which makes me think the problems I am now having are unrelated to the original extension issue.

          I noticed there was an update to 1Password earlier today. The update seems to have fixed the extension problem for me but maybe introduced an error for the universal autofill. If you are still having trouble with the extensions, have you checked for updates in the 1password app?

                  Hi @Vlad - I don't want to make a whole new post, but it seems like other people are still having issues after you tagged it done.

                  As for myself, I cannot even use 1Password in Orion still. It won't open, no matter which extension version (Firefox, Chrome [beta and nightly included]) I've never had a good experience using 1Password in Orion, but now it's completely broken!

                        I have this issue and it's getting unusable. Occurs on both Sonoma and latest iOS. I will try to get a reproducible trigger, but in the meantime; did you create a new issue? Can't find it.

                            comatose_tortoise I haven't opened/created a new issue, I still experience the issue and just kind of gave up on using 1P with Orion. I know it's a trope to say "this is the reason I don't use Orion" -- I DO use Orion, esp on iOS, but it just can't be my main browser on Mac until 1Password works.

                            @Vlad I will say, this issue abates for a while, usually if I do a clean install, but it always comes back eventually. I am not a developer in any sense so I have 0 idea why it happens. I know you have a gigantic amount of work to get through, so I feel bad pinging you, but I do think this one is important. Edit: Should I create a new issue?

                                With the mobile version specifically I get this ALL THE TIME, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the extension many times.

                                I frequently get this, may be during the transition to the browser being active.
