Youtube's new "rolling meter" Like count rendered wrong

Youtube recently introduced a real time rolling meter-esque viewer/like count while watching any video, however, the like counter gets stuck on both RC and beta versions of Orion, rendering it useless. View counts work fine.

To reproduce:

Watch https://www.youtube(.)com/watch?v=xoJliN5Pwv8 or any video.
Look at the count.

No difference with compatibility mode and disabled extensions.

It gets stuck like this:

How it should look:

0.99.126.3-rc (WebKit 618.1.2) and 0.99.126.3-beta (WebKit 618.1.2)

It's the same in Safari 15.6.1, so it seems to be with WebKit version? I assume, since you're on an old version of OS X.

Yeah, I think it's a Webkit bug because on Safari 17.1, on some live streams the Like count is frozen at '0' while videos show the count but I've yet to see it rolling. Orion on Sonoma shows the same issue as on Mojave.

Huh, that's weird. Seems like it's working fine now on 0.99.126.4.1 despite webkit not being updated.
Must've been on youtube's end.
