Sound not working/delayed

When playing games in boardgamearena.com, the sound is only working when the tab is active.
In Tetris.com the sound is delayed, by a few milliseconds

The sound to be in real time and play regardless if the tab is active or not

Just a quick update, some sounds play when the tab/browser isn't active, but are repeated upon activating the tab. Seems to be hit and miss.
