Hello,

Steps to reproduce:

1- Install desktop version of Orion on my Mac
2- Import every data from Chrome (history, bookmarks, passwords,...)
3- Install iOS version
But the bookmarks, history, etc., is not imported on the iOS app.

I checked and Orion is turned on in my iCloud Drive options (both on the Mac and the iPhone)

I also checked the page : https://help.kagi.com/orion/support-and-community/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-syncing-data-issues.html
I followed the steps but it didn't change anything.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Mobile: iPhone 13 mini / iOS 17.1.1 / Orion version 1.3.3 (2)
Desktop : MacBook Pro M1pro / macOS Sonoma 14.1 / Orion version 0.99.126.2-beta

The datas between mac and iOS apps should be working

Version 0.99.126.2-beta

Sonoma (14)

ori-b We do not control iCloud Sync and it is known to be flaky. The troubleshooting is best we can offer.

      Hi thanks for the reply.
If the iCloud Sync so flaky, are you considering to change the syncing service ? Or maybe other services aren't as secured

ori-b We use iCloud because it is native to macOS/iOS and hope that Apple will eventually fix all bugs.

Same camp. Can't get the two to sync at all - even after following troubleshooting.

Is there a way to get some debug logs?

A reinstall of the iOS app did the trick. Let me also add - It might not be your fault that iCloud sync is flaky - but it will be your problem since users will pin it on your app.

            Unfortunate - but true.
