I have the control+R shortcut which focuses on the menubar. On both safari and chrome they work, but for some reason on Orion it blocks the shortcut.
Orion needs a transparent shortcut override which does not allow websites to override the control key shortcuts of the user and the operating system, because strangely enough on the start page it still works and focuses on the menu bar.

It shoud focus on the menu bar while on a website.

Vlad On any webpage it doesn't work. You have to set that shortcut I put, and then go to Orionfeedback for example and it doesn't pass-through transparently. IT's why it's a bit hard to use the shortcut while on Orion because it doesn't have the same functionality of other browsers, that is to pass through the control key schema list.
This is an important hurdle that's been present since the beginning that I used that I would wish to be fixed the most
Other bugs areminor but this keyboard shortcut bug hasn't been fixed for three years already.

Vlad It appears it's an issue with shortcut transparency regarding the ctrl+key emacs shortcuts on macOS. Currently only ctrl+a,e,f,b,d,t are used. So the keys other than those ones should be transparent and open to be remapped within Orion.
It also only happens when you are focused on the main content of the window, and not the toolbar or the address bar.

Fortrikka changed the title to Control key shortcut transparency issue .
